Bargreen-Ellingson Named 2008 Dealer of the Year
Foodservice Equipment & Supplies (FE&S) has named Bargreen-Ellingson the magazine’s 2008 Dealer of the Year. The Tacoma, Wash.-based dealership will receive the award during FE&S’ annual Dealer of the Year & Industry Awards Gala, which takes place May 17 at Chicago’s Four Season Hotel.
“Bargreen-Ellingson is an outstanding company with an outstanding business model,” said FE&S
Publisher Brian Schilling. “They have earned the respect of their
customers and factories alike by forging partnerships that make sense
for all parties involved and honoring the terms of their agreements.
“In
addition, Bargreen-Ellingson continues to make investing in their
people a priority and they donate their time and expertise to numerous
industry organizations,” Schilling added. “It’s hard to find a company
with a higher leadership profile in the foodservice industry.”
Founded
in 1960, Bargreen-Ellingson operates 15 locations spanning seven states
and Canada. Over the past year, Bargreen-Ellingson, which previously
won this award in 1991, acquired American Restaurant Supply – Hawaii
and opened an office in Denver.
In addition to Bargreen-Ellingson, during the May 17 Awards Gala, FE&S
will recognize a dealer, consultant, service agent and manufacturers’
rep with the magazine’s annual Top Achiever Awards. This honor goes to
an individual from each of these segments who has helped build a
market-leading organization that is responsive to customer needs.
Also during its Industry Awards Gala, FE&S
will recognize its 2008 Hall of Fame Award recipient, which honors an
individual who has spent the better part of their career building a
market-leading company and shaping the modern distribution channel by
making contributions to the industry at-large.
